Jacob graduated magna cum laude from Pace University School of Law, located in White Plains, New York. After being admitted to the bar, Jacob began practicing law in the family law department of a busy law firm in Chester, New York. In 2012, Jacob opened a law practice in his home town of Warwick, New York, where he continues to focus on matrimonial and family law.

Prior to law school, Jacob graduated from Cornell University, receiving his degree, with Distinction, in policy analysis and business management. He had a successful career in the chemicals industry, where he served as a Business Analyst and as a Supply Chain Planning Manager. Because of this experience, Jacob is highly skilled at organizing and analyzing complex financial information. These skills are not part of the traditional legal curriculum, but are extremely relevant to the financial aspects of divorce and child support matters. Furthermore, even after leaving the business world, Jacob has remained committed to the concept of “efficiency.” This means that, at every stage of your matter, Jacob will evaluate the time and expense involved, and will strive to maximize the return you obtain.

Early in his legal career, Jacob became interested in alternative dispute resolution techniques such as collaborative law. Such techniques can help clients reach resolutions that are more complete and effective. The process can also be more efficient than litigation in the court system. Pursuing his interest in collaborative law, Jacob completed Interdisciplinary Basic Collaborative Practice Training, as well as several other collaborative training courses. Jacob also completed Basic Mediation Training and is now a member of the Mediator Panel of the Dispute Resolution Center located in Campbell Hall, New York.

Jacob’s experience in the business world, together with his experience practicing the full range of matrimonial dispute resolution techniques (litigation, mediation, and collaborative law), help him to provide legal services tailored to the needs and circumstances of each client.
